A series of new job postings give a glimpse of what CI Games is currently working on. According to a now deleted Combat Designer job listing, the Polish game maker’s next project will breathe new life into the survival horror genre. Polish developer and publisher CI Games is best known for Sniper Ghost Warrior and Lords of the Fallen.
A unique game may be coming
Of course, the advertisements given by companies can be quite optimistic and rosy, but we can say that these statements still have a place in the game world. CI Games says its new game will add a unique twist to the formula and will be an open-world survival horror game. Lords of the Fallen itself has an eerie style and a grim tone with lots of bizarre visual sequences, but it looks like the developers will take it up a notch in their next game. In the meantime, let’s just say that Lords of the Fallen made some people tear their hair out.
CI Games’ job advertisement says that the game in development will be unique in terms of both mechanics and environmental challenges set for the player. The game is also being developed on the Unreal Engine 5, so it’s already looking to be a visually strong work. CI Games hasn’t announced its next game yet, but we can say that it won’t take too much time.
