Silent Hill 2 Remake will finally release in 2024
In a recently released video, it was revealed which games and additional packs PlayStation users will receive in 2024. Silent Hill 2 is among the games that will be coming to PS5 this year.
While no firm release date has been given for Silent Hill 2 Remake, it marks the first official confirmation that the game will be released in 2024. The new horror game, developed by Bloober Team, has been in development for several years.
The Remake version, first announced in 2020, quickly gained a lot of buzz. Bloober Team declined to elaborate, saying that they wanted to do justice to the “disturbing atmosphere and psychological horror” of the original game.
Silent Hill 2, released for PS2 in 2001, is widely recognized as one of the most influential survival-horror games ever made. It also played a big role in the recognition of the series in the gaming world. Although more than 20 years have passed, it continues to be talked about.
It’s important to note that Silent Hill 2 Remake will only be available for PlayStation 5 at first. After its release in 2024, there is a possibility that it will be available on Windows a few years later. It is unclear whether it will be added to PS Plus upon release.
